The Committee

Little Waltham Pre-School is a volunteer led charity which is run by a committee of elected members - usually parents.

Because of our charity status we have to have an active committee to stay open.

Our Committee is elected from those willing to stand at the Annual General Meeting held around October time every year. However we are always happy to welcome new faces throughout the year.

As always all posts are made available at the Annual General Meeting every year, and any person wishing to stand may be proposed. The proposition must be seconded, and then agreed by the previous years commitee in order to be passed. The Annual General Meeting is open to all parents to attend and we encourage you to do so, It's a good opportunity to meet and greet the committee and ask any questions you may have for us.

We discuss the ups and downs of the previous year with relevant praise given where due, we then elect the next years committee and set a date for the first meeting. Usually a couple of weeks later.

2011 Annual General Meeting

This years meeting will be held at The Little Waltham Memorial Hall on the evening of Wednesday 9th November.

It's important that as many people attend that can and this will also give parents the opportunity to ask questions, get to know Staff and Committee a little better and find out what goes into the day to day running of the Pre-School.

It will also give parents the opportunity to vote on the members of the next committee and to join us if they wish.
